Jumps course

Jumps; often something most mountain bikers want to achieve, but struggle to understand how. This is where we come in, with experience on famous jump trails such as A-Line, Dirt Merchant, Freight Train and Crabapple Hits in Whistler, we have all the experience you need to guide you through the timed proven progression.

This course is very specific! It is not one we run often, as we generally focus on a broader breadth of skills… however, sometimes you just need lots of practice in various scenarios to build your knowledge base up.

During this course, we will focus on developing your pressure control and timing skills, which are extremely important for your jumps technique. Working on your body mechanics, technique and some simple psychology, you will develop a clear conceptual understanding of what needs to be done and how.

Using specific targeted purposeful practice, riders will tune into the "feeling" and once we have felt it we can begin to repeat it. When we can repeat it, we can explore where and how this "feeling" applies elsewhere. We don't just train riders for a day, we provide a conceptual understanding and a way of practicing which will keep participants progressing long after the course.

This course is for intermediate to advanced riders, our feedback is specific to your needs.

Riders will be taken through a series of table top jumps throughout the session. No one will be asked to ride any feature they do not feel comfortable with! Our job is to help riders expand their comfort zones, NOT push their limits.
