A Coaching Journey Designed Around You the Rider.

Regular coaching is the key to unlocking your full potential on the trails. With consistent guidance, you’ll develop your skills, boost your confidence, and ride with greater control and flow.

Each session builds on the last, allowing your coach to track your progress, refine your technique, and help you reach new levels of performance.

This course is entirely tailored to you — your riding style, goals, and future aspirations.

Following your initial assessment (Session 1), your coach will create a personalised development plan based on your current ability and the outcomes you want to achieve.

Together, we’ll build on the skills you already have, focusing on:

  • Body mechanics and balance

  • Trail awareness and reading terrain

  • Technical application — understanding how and when to use specific techniques

You’ll come away with a clear, actionable understanding of what to do, when to do it, and why it works.

From Feeling to Flow

Between sessions, you’ll use purposeful practice to reinforce what you’ve learned.
We’ll help you tune into the feeling of correct technique — once you can feel it, you can repeat it, and once you can repeat it, you can apply it anywhere on the trail.

This approach transforms your riding from reactive to intuitive.

Beyond the Course

We don’t just coach for a day — we give you the tools to keep progressing long after the sessions end. You’ll leave with a deeper conceptual understanding of your riding and a structured approach to continuous rider improvement.

This course is ideal for intermediate to advanced riders seeking focused, individualised feedback.

After Sessions 2, 3, and 4, you’ll receive detailed video and written feedback, helping you visualise progress and fine-tune your development.


Pre-requisites 

  • Comfortable riding off road on red grade trails / natural trails or above.

  • 14+ years.

Note: Please use your usual riding gear / bike / pedals for this course.


YOU WILL NEED FOR EACH SESSION

  • A fully functioning mountain bike fit for purpose.

  • Appropriate clothing for the weather conditions on the sessions.

  • Helmet, either open or full face, your choice.

  • Snacks and drinks for the session.

  • We also recommend kneepads and gloves.


Details

Session 1 - 1hr - 2hr Duration

Using video analysis this session is to review your current riding techniques and to discuss your goals and aspirations as a rider.  From this session a coaching plan specific to your needs and goals will be formulated for Sessions 2,3 & 4.

Session 2 - 3hrs

  • Bespoke session based on your coaching plan. 

  • Video feedback during the session 

  • Video and written feedback provided with techniques to practice ready for the following session.

Session 3 - 3hrs

  • Bespoke session based on your coaching plan. 

  • Review of the previous session.

  • Video feedback during the session 

  • Video and written feedback provided with techniques to practice ready for the following session.

Session 4 - 3hrs

  • Bespoke session based on your coaching plan. 

  • Review of the previous session. 

  • Video feedback during the session 

  • Video and written feedback provided with techniques to take away and practice.
